Keep the Blackshear Yellow Jackets Buzzing

The Blackshear Elementary School PTA is working to raise $20,000 by May 18—and every dollar makes a difference.

This funding goes directly back to students, teachers, and school community for the 2026–2027 school year. It’s what makes field trips possible. It puts snacks in classrooms. It ensures every child has a school T-shirt and a sense of belonging. And it helps keep Blackshear’s fine arts programs alive and thriving.

Nearly half of what is raised supports these everyday experiences that mean so much to our kids.

With enrollment expected to grow and uncertainty around district funding for fine arts, the need is greater than ever.

If you’ve ever seen the joy on a child’s face during a field trip, a performance, or just a regular day at school—you’ve seen exactly what this makes possible.

Blackshear Elementary PTA is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization as recognized by the Internal Revenue Service.  No goods or services, in whole or in part, were received in exchange for this contribution;  therefore, the full value of your contribution is deductible for income tax purposes.  You will receive an emailed receipt - please retain this for your tax records.  Blackshear Elementary PTA's EIN is 91-2015074.
