Action Item: Leave Comments For The (This) Thursday, April 9, 2026 AISD School Board Meeting

Let the AISD Superintendent and Board of Trustees know that the community wishes to Save Blackshear.

The upcoming April 9, 2026 AISD School Board Meeting is a regular information session held on the second Thursday of each month. These meetings allow for general public comments and are limited to 60 speakers.

General public comment may be made in person or pre-recorded over the phone between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. the day before the meeting and between 7:45 a.m.– 1:00 p.m. the day of the board meeting.

This is an opportunity to have our voices heard.

Please call-in on April 8 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to sign up to speak at the meeting the next day or leave a recorded comment to be played at the meeting.

Your call will reach a district employee who will take your name and affiliation to the district. They will ask whether you want to comment in-person or leave a recorded message.

Should you choose to leave a recorded message, you will have 60 seconds to record before your message is cut off. You can listen to your message and try again if needed. It helps to practice in advance to make sure your message fits within the time. It helps to keep your recorded message simple, around one talking point, and spoken clearly.
